In order to attest to meeting meaningful use in Stage 1, health care providers must test the capability of their certified electronic health record (EHR) system to send electronic laboratory reports, immunization data or syndromic surveillance data to the New Mexico Department of Health (NMDOH). The NMDOH has provided the capability for health care providers to test their messages through this website. Providers must register and create an account. Once your account is activated, test messages sent through this website will be recorded in order to track your progress.
The NMDOH is able to test the following public health messages for providers who are attesting to meeting Stage 1 meaningful use requirements:
  • Electronic Laboratory Reporting - HL 7 2.5.1
  • Immunization Reporting - HL 7 2.5.1 (local implementation)
  • Syndromic Surveillance - HL 7 2.5.1
